Germany

Germany has 81.1 million inhabitants of Central Europe's most populous state and one of the world's leading industrialized countries. The country's capital and at the same time most populous city is Berlin and it has almost 3.5 million inhabitants.

Germany has nine neighboring countries: Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland. Germany is one of the founding countries of the European Union and is located in the geographic center. The German population and the economy are the biggest of member states.

Germany has warm summers and mild cloudy winters. 

The formal head of state is the Federal President. The current president is Joachim Gauck. Germany became an independent fourth of january in 1918.
